The scene opens up to one we’re familiar with at this point, Kasey Kash… sat in the darkness looking at the floor. He notices the camera and chuckles to himself as he begins to speak.
“Time… and opportunity. This brings up something that I feel needs talking about… this ‘Golden Gambit’ will make opportunity number three for me here in PCW. Not that I’m complaining, please don’t think of it as that.”
“I just… I don’t know how many more opportunities I can keep being gifted if I don’t capitalize off of them. This has to be the shot I fully take and this has to be the shot for me that hits the target. I can’t keep getting these opportunities and not pull the fucking trigger…”
He sighs, running his hand through his hair. Before lifting his head and looking at the camera.
“...I beat the world champion last week. I should be over the moon. I should… should be feeling like I’m on top of the world. I should feel like I’m untouchable, or that I’m deserving of a shot against Matt Miles. It’s not the truth. I don’t feel like any of that… I don’t. I didn’t earn my win. It was a countout. It was a fluke. Matt said something to me last week that's stuck with me… I’m not going to share what was said… It was a moment that we shared, and it wouldn’t feel right to share it with the world… and while it is a win against the champion, and it looks good on paper… but it means nothing in the long run. That brings me perfectly onto this golden gambit… two men I’ve faced before, one of which I hold a victory over in singles competition… and one that I don’t have any history with.”
“Now I go to TJ Alexander… TJ we faced off before. I took a pin in that triple threat match. It’s a match I wish I could go back and change the result of. I wish I could change the outcome, because it's something that’s hanging over my head… It's something that's making me feel the way I do when it comes to these championship opportunities. TJ I plan on righting the wrong that happened in that match. I know you plan on bringing your A-Game… but that A-Game means fuck all when you’re stood in the ring with the Antichrist of Professional Wrestling…”
“...Damian Mordeau. I… I don’t even know why you’re in this match. You had your chance… you had an opportunity to get what you feel is rightfully yours… and you failed. You couldn’t beat Matt Miles. You, yourself, couldn’t pull the trigger… just like how you couldn’t hit that killshot against me. I hold a victory over you and I just KNOW it eats you up inside… because you feel as if you’re the better man in the conversation about us. You feel as if you are levels above me, and levels above other people in this company… but with that little asterisk on your record… How can you claim that? That’ll be your driving factor in this match, I reckon… how you yourself want to try and get yours back against me and move on to Champion’s Vow and get a rematch against Miles for the world championship… but let me tell you this, Damian… man to man? You don’t even compare to Matt Miles… and I would be ashamed to be in a company where YOU are the World Champion.”
“...Which now finally brings me to the last man in this matchup… the unknown to me… Target Smiles. Me and you have never faced off against one another in this company, you’re someone I’ve had my eyes on since I stepped foot here. I think our styles could mesh very well in a one on one match, but this isn’t that. We have two other men here that feel like they are deserving of a championship opportunity more than us and are gonna fight tooth and nail to prove such… and I expect nothing less from you. You, yourself were inches away from winning the blind faith tournament and going on to fight for the world title, and honestly? I think you could’ve done it. I think you could be the one that we’re all fighting to face at Champion’s Vow… you… you have that fighting spirit that's needed to be at the pinnacle… but… there’s a reason you’re not, mate. There’s a reason you flamed out in the finals and there's a reason you’ll fall short in this contest… just like TJ will… just like Damian will…”
“Because against me? Nobody in this match has the fire I do to show they belong here. Nobody has that killer instinct that's needed to do what it takes to walk out victorious… no matter what that might be. The three other men in this match…. Mordeau… Smiles… Alexander… I hope you know what you’re stepping into here… because you’re not facing the Kasey Kash people are used to seeing in a PCW ring… no no no…”
Kasey stands up out of the chair and brushes his hair out of his face with his hand, looking into the camera.
“You three are stepping into the ring with the fucking Antichrist of Professional Wrestling… and the only way you’re getting out of this ass whooping is with a signed note from god… I'll see you boys soon... when I walk into that ring and leave with three more fucking heads to add to the collection.”
With that, Kasey walks out of frame and the scene fades.
